Company Drivers
Employee Driver Requirements:
- Must be 23 years of age or older
- Have a valid Class A CDL
- Have two years verifiable Class A CDL driving experience
- Pass a company road test
- Pass pre-employment drug screen
- Pass a DOT pre-employment physical or have valid medical card
- Speak, read and write the English language in accordance with D.O.T. regulations
Unacceptable Driving Records:
More than 3 moving violations and/or accidents in the most recent 3 years
More than 2 moving violations and/or accidents in the most recent year
Drivers with a major conviction in the last 5 years:
- Driving while intoxicated or "under the influence" (DWI or DUI)
- Leaving the scene of an accident
- Careless or reckless driving
- Homicide or assault through the use of a motor vehicle
- Drivers who currently have a suspended or revoked license
- Eluding a police officer
Criminal History:
An applicant may not have any of the following convictions:
- Sale or Possession of a controlled substance within the last 5 years
- Murder
- Sexual assault
- Armed robbery or felony theft
- Perjury
- Any aggravated conviction
- Any other felonies or misdemeanors will be reviewed by the fleet Safety Dept.
