Fuel Surcharge
FUEL SURCHARGE INFORMATION:
The price of fuel is a big factor in the cost of moving your products. Due to the drastic fluctuations in fuel prices, JetEx Freight has implemented a fuel surcharge for local shipments (under 125 miles)and long haul shipments (over125 miles).
To calculate the fuel surcharge, JetEx Freight utilizes the U.S. Department of Energy(DOE)website "Gulf Coast Average Price" index for diesel fuel for all shipments. The fuel price index is published on the DOE web-site each Monday evening. Changes to the JetEx Freight fuel surcharge will be recalculated at the beginning of each Monday for the following week's surcharge.
